Last Call Out Ministry Update 2019

Greetings to the friends of Last Call Out Ministries,

I want to give you an update on the current plans for this ministry.

When we began this ministry in 2016 God worked in an amazing way to confirm our plans. Our mission is to reach the cities with the last call of mercy by sending teams of Bible workers and Medical Missionaries into the cities from outposts, and to provide housing for these teams, as well as assisting God’s people who are heeding the call to move out of the cities. We can do this by helping to provide transitional or permanent housing and practical training in the skills for country living.

We have had the opportunity to complete a project to help a family move onto their country property by constructing a small home. This was done with the help of up to thirty volunteers. There were some challenges along the way, but it was very rewarding and a lot of fun!

A fifth wheel RV has been donated to the ministry to be used by anyone needing a temporary place to stay while visiting the area or looking for property. Someone else offered to let us put the RV on their land near Priest River, Idaho. They also paid for the materials to put a snow roof over it, and install septic, water and solar power. This construction was again accomplished by a group of volunteers.

Just recently Last Call Out Ministries held our quarterly board meeting, in which we decided unanimously to move forward with our next step, which is building a prototype tiny house. We have very limited funds, but feel the urgency of the need to provide portable housing that can be used by churches or ministries for their Bible workers and Medical Missionaries, as well as for those who are transitioning from the city to the country. There is a great need for these portable homes that can be placed on any church, school or private property.

We also plan to produce a promotional video to help spread the word about this ministry. The construction of this tiny house will be filmed to be used in the video. We will be contracting with White Horse Media to produce this video. In order to accomplish this two-fold project more efficiently, Last Call Out Ministry volunteers will be doing the construction of the tiny house at the headquarters of White Horse Media near Priest River, Idaho. If you wish to volunteer for the building project please contact us. Experience in construction is not necessary, just a willingness to work, and the ability to follow instructions. We will send more detailed information regarding this project as it becomes available.

As a board, we have voted to move ahead with this project in faith that God will supply our needs. You can help! Not only will we need volunteers to help in the construction of this 8’x24′ “humble home”, but we need to raise approximately $15,000 to complete the project. We are looking at beginning to build the tiny house in June 2019, so we would appreciate any donations within the next couple of weeks.

In addition, to be most efficient as a ministry we need to obtain our own property where we can establish an Outpost Center to construct portable tiny homes, have a training and retreat center for Bible Workers and Medical Missionaries, and to provide instructional classes in country living skills for those moving out of the cities.

If you would like to contribute to these needs you may donate via our website or send a check to: Last Call Out Ministries PO Box 691 Priest River, ID 83856

Whatever the talents the Lord has given us, let us use them for His glory and for the upbuilding of His Kingdom! Your prayers for this ministry are always appreciated!
